Peter Linke

Dr Peter Linke is a senior research scientist in the Marine Geosystems department at GEOMAR. His major focus is on biogeochemical and hydrodynamic investigations related to gas and fluid fluxes at seep sites and gas hydrate bearing sediments using modern lander and ROV technologies. He has more than 25 years of experience in deep-sea research and the coordination of national and international research projects. He is heading GEOMAR’s technology and logistics centre and is involved in the German project SUGAR as well as the EU-funded projects ECO2 and MIDAS. He will carry out work in work packages 1, 2 and 3.
